AnswerNew York law provides that depending on the number of children of the marriage, non-custodial parent must pay child support. Child support guidelines are as follows:
17% for 1 child
25% for 2 children
29% for 3 children
31% for 4 children
In addition to basic child support listed above, non-custodial parent must contribute to medical, educational and child care expenses.
