International Divorce and Family Attorney

I provide services as a family lawyer and divorce attorney since 1999 when I was admitted to practice as a Russian attorney, the member of the St. Petersburg Bar Association. I am working in the courts on the whole territory of the Russian Federation and outside Russia.

In 1999 I set up the first Russian law website in English language, this website, designed to fill in the gap for non-Russian speakers seeking Russian lawyer’s assistance in family matters, including relevant legislation, commentary and useful information relating to legal family matters.

I am licensed by the Appellate Division, 2nd Judicial Department of the Supreme Court of the State of New York as a legal consultant from Russia pursuant to Section 53(6) of the Judiciary Law of the State of New York, as limited by Part 521 of the Rules of the Court of Appeals, and in accordance with the rules of the Court. I am often called to testify in the United States courts as an expert on Russian laws. I have provided many testimonies as a Russian Legal Expert in various foreign courts, especially, in United States.

I speak both, Russian and English languages.

While my area of expertise includes various aspects of Family law, Civil, Property, Tax and Inheritance law, the major part of my work deals with international family law cases, complex property settlements, prenuptial agreements, custody and visitations issues.

Major part of my work as a family lawyer sees me as a consultant Russian lawyer specializing in international divorce matters. I acted and continue to act as an expert in Russian matrimonial law, and provide my expert witness reports to American courts and many other countries, some of which became landmark cases in relevant jurisdictions.

My practice as Russian Divorce Attorney remains my primary focus.
